In my position at Animals Fiji, I contacted local newspapers in Fiji with a proposal for regular articles focused on the care and well-being of animals, especially in the Northern Division of Fiji. The Fiji Sun embraced the idea, and I started contributing articles featured in their weekend newspaper. I have had requests for copies of these articles, and this is the easiest way to distribute them – it’s not pretty, but it is functional, and I only supply the text and pictures (not layout!). Please let me know any obvious errors or problems.
Note: My Volunteer assignment was completed on the 20 March 2024. Animals Fiji staff are continuing to provide articles for inclusion in the Fiji Sun.
